Chicken Christmas Pictures

Ever try to pose your chickens for Christmas pictures? lol Not an easy task at all! Chickens are not overly fond of being dressed up, but will usually sit still for a few minutes while you snap a quick pic.

Chicken Pictures: Christmas 

Here is attempt 1, with the hat:

She did not like that hat at all! It was a little girls hair clip, so I just clipped it to Buttercup's "hair". She kept holding her head to one side and looking away. Finally I gave up and just set the hat on the floor next to her! She posed pretty for me for attempt 2:

I did have several other Silkies I was going to bring in for pictures, but decided to attempt that another day!

    Oh yes, I had the chicken v santa hat picture moment. Even though I chose my quietest hen, she would put her head down and the hat would topple off, everytime I picked up the camera! :D

    Eventually we managed to get a picture for my blog!

    How funny! I really wanted to dress some of my chickens up for Christmas, but figured it would be nearly impossible to get good photos of them. Maybe I'll try next year :)
